After World War II and into the Vietnam era America possessed a generation of brave men and women who traveled East, bringing back karate directly from Okinawan and Japanese masters. This book tells the story of these pioneers who sparked the growth of karate in America.

This project is currently in development stages. The author is gathering resources and reaching out to senior practitioners who may be appropriate for inclusion.
